I sat on the A1, in the pouring rain and thought “is this it?”

I still remember it clearly.

I was sitting in my car on the A1M, in the pouring rain, stuck behind an accident just a mile from home. I’d just finished teaching an evening class, the kind I usually loved—but there I was, engine idling, radio playing some random song, going absolutely nowhere.

I’d sat there for nearly an hour, damp, cold, and mentally done.

And all I could think was:

“There has to be more to life than this.”

Trudging up and down the same stretch of motorway each week. Giving and giving, but feeling… off.
Not burnt out exactly, but flat. Lost. Like I was existing, not really living.

It wasn’t that I didn’t love my work. Helping women feel better in their bodies and minds still meant everything to me.
But it just wasn’t enough anymore.

The pandemic had shifted something in me. Life as we knew it changed.  Maybe you felt it too?

If You’ve Been Feeling That Sense of “Is This It?”  I promise, you’re not alone.

For so many of us, that sense of low-grade frustration or emotional flatness creeps in quietly.

You’re still doing the things. Still showing up. Still being reliable, supportive, responsible.

But inside, something’s out of sync and you just can’t put your finger on it.
Something’s whispering that you want more—but you’re not sure what “more” even looks like anymore.

That doesn’t mean you’re broken. It doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
It means you’ve reached a crossroads.

And that’s not a bad place to be, it’s an honest one.

This feeling of flatness is often a sign you’re ready to evolve, to make changes and finally do something for YOU.

What used to light you up may not hit the same anymore.
The pace, the pressures, the people-pleasing, it’s all a bit much.
It’s not weakness.
It’s awareness.

You’ve likely spent years putting others first.
Now, you’re quietly craving time, space, purpose… maybe even a complete shift in how you live and work.

As many of you know, for me it was about realising I wanted to move to North Wales.  I had no idea how this could even work but deep down, I knew I didn’t want to wait until I retired.

It didn’t happen overnight, but as soon as I said those words out loud to Dave and then my coaches, I felt like a fog had been lifted.   We broke it down into small steps, getting everything in place.  And now, nearly three years later here I am, loving my life, making new friends, doing things I never dreamed I would be doing.  I’m in love with my business again and helping even more women live a life they love too.

If that story of me on the A1 feels all too familiar.  If you’ve lost sight of what lights you up now or brings you joy then I’m here.
